Global Manufacturing IT Tool Automation Program Designer - H1742

Job Description Tool Automation Program (TAP) Architect/designer in the “Global” Manufacturing  IT team, responsible for tool automation applications Head  manufacturing.  Responsible for maintaining high reliability of, and implementing enhancements to the TAPs currently used in head manufacturing.  Responsible for design of new TAPs and solving problems with existing TAPs.  Work closely with process and equipment engineers to understand requirements for TAPs.  Provide guidance to global programmers and technicians for coding, implementing, and advanced troubleshooting of TAP problems. Leadership, documentation, attention to details, problem solving, and excellent communications skills are a must.Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related fields - 5+ years experience in media Manufacturing, development, implementation and support of manufacturing process and tools -  Knowledge of head manufacturing tooling, equipment, and processes -  Skilled in Java on Linux,  J2EE, .Net, C/C++/C#, Websphere, MQ Series, DB2 and SQL. -  Experienced with InSite and Mesa applications, including Automation Toolkit and Resource Module -  Demonstrated strong problem-solving ability, strong verbal and written communication and formal presentation skills -  Willing to do international travel for short periods of timeHow to Apply TO APPLY: hgstcareers@hitachigst.com Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
