Global Product Planner

The Global Product Planner is a strategic role focused on the profitable payment growth in retail and commercial fueling responsible for identifying and prioritizing market opportunities based on customer needs, competition, market trends/dynamics, and technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities



 

Own the initial stages for the product development process through the following activities

Articulating clear and accurate market and product requirements

Developing strong and compelling business cases

Defining winning commercialization strategies

Defining winning partner strategies

 

Lead development of annual strategic plan for the payment business unit

 

Identify and track key technology trends and determine their impact on the business (opportunity / threat)

 

Identify and track key regulatory trends and determine their impact on the business (opportunity / threat)

 

Identify and track key competition and determine their impact on the business (opportunity / threat)

 

Drive a robust an efficient VOC and Segmentation processes to ensure we target the right customers with the right products

 

Consult with regional marketing organizations on commercialization strategies

 

Support execution of regional commercialization as required

 

Develop technology and product roadmaps collaboratively with regional marketing and business development

 

Collaborate with engineering to ensure ideation and concept activities are focused on the most compelling business and consumer problems in retail and commercial petroleum

 

Background and Skill

 

Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering or technical field.

 

4 or more years’ progressive marketing, engineering, or strategy experience in a technical environment.

 

Proven ability to identifying market trends and technology shifts, and develop and execute successful growth strategies

 

Understanding of product line management and marketing concepts, and demonstrated competence in applying these principals to achieve business plans.
