Global Vice President of Human Resources

Our rapidly expanding manufacturing client is in need of its first Global Vice President of Human Resources. This organization is seeking an impact player to head all aspects of its strategic and tactical initiatives. 10- 15 years experience and a Bachelor’s Degree at minimum. Labor relations, policy, and global experience preferred.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Create and implement a strategic recruitment and selection plan to meet company needs.- Manage and coordinate company equal opportunity programs to achieve planned diversity goals.- Create strategic training and development plans to meet the  personal, professional and organization needs of employees. - Develop compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and to ensure competitive salary levels are in place. Monitor the design and development of compensation strategy and programs to ensure planned goals are achieved.- Direct the administration of benefit programs to include health, skills enhancement, retirement, death, disability and unemployment. Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefit programs to meet corporate global Human Capital Management strategic plans.- Administer and negotiate Union contracts.- Manage and coordinate the grievance process and mediate work place disputes.- Evaluate procedures and technology solutions to improve human resources data management. - Recommend and maintain an enterprise wide organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.- Evaluate company culture and recommend changes in policies and procedures and practices as needed to meet corporate global strategic plans and goals.- Evaluate and recommend human resource outsourcing opportunities and identify potential vendors. - Develop and manage annual HR budgets and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis.- Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop five year and ten year business plans for the company.  REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum of 15 years of progressive global HR management responsibilities. At least 10 of those 15 years must be in executive management.- Knowledge of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) functionality desired. - Knowledge of contracts, negotiating, change management, as well as federal, state, and local employment wage and salary laws and regulations. - EEO/AA laws knowledge. - Experience in design, development and implementation of salary administration plans and benefits programs.
