Graphic/Industrial Designer

 Job description -  Work with director and team to create merchandising vehicles and media content for tradeshow, showrooms and retail spaces.
 
1. Prepare sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, illustrations, artwork, and/or blueprints,explenations using  design software or traditional media.
2. Evaluate feasibility of design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, function, budget, safety, production methods and market characteristics. 
3. Present designs and cost estimates to director.
4. Work with team to build, finish and install designs.
5. Design graphic material for use as ornamentation, illustration, presentation, or advertising on manufactured merchandisers and displays. 
6. Possibly use current video and motion software to create digital content for presentations.


Skills and requirements -

1. 5 yrs applicable design experience with various media.
2. 2-4 year degree in Graphic design, Industrial design or like.
3. Able to communicate well visually. 
4. Various current graphic software expertise in Illustrator, Photoshop, Final cut, Motion, Flash, Keynote and general office applications.  
5. CAD software knowledge a bonus.
6. Mac environment. Comfortable with hand tools and office shop atmosphere.
7. Travel up to twice a month to various domestic locations.
