Graphic Production Artist

Seeking a highly talented Production Artist to join our growing design team in San Diego.  Reporting to the Packaging & Print Production Manager, this professional will be responsible for the production of brand-complaint, meticulously-designed graphic art and visual materials for packaging, instruction manuals, catalogs, sell sheets and additional promotional items. She/he will layout and prepare artwork for final printing in compliance with strict industry standards.  

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent and 5 - 7 years of experience in production/graphic design. Must have direct final art preparation and production experience. Proficiency working on Macintosh Platform is essential.  Must be familiar with layout principles, esthetic design concepts, practices, and procedures.  Knowledge of current graphic design software Adobe CS 3 is required. Key to success will be ability to multi-task in a fast-paced organization, prioritize workload and meet rigid deadlines.
