Scope of Position:
1. Supports daily and long term production activities
2. Support the growing Diesel business by leading, directing, and prioritizing activities related to current and future diesel production Finishing processes
3. Position will focus on production support, as well as process and capacity improvement activities, problem prevention and resolution
4. Initiates and implements projects and experimental plans to improve processes or equipment
5. Works closely with projects associated with process improvement, equipment upgrades, and equipment maintenance 
6. Interacts with internal and external resources as required to meet plant goals

7. Collects data and helps draw valid conclusions which result in improvement recommendations
8. Ability to develop a positive rapport with P&M employees

9. Ability to involve P&M employees in projects

10. Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

11. Desire to learn and willing to get hands on involvement

12. Ability to communicate with outside vendors and/or Division or MTE Engineering resources as needed

13. Flexible leadership skills

14. Computer skills (ability to make graphs in Excel and use Word)
