HR Generalist

EMCO Enterprises, Inc., a leading manufacturer of storm and screen doors and a wholly owned subsidiary of Andersen Corporation, the market leader in wood windows and doors, is seeking an HR Generalist at their Luray, VA location.

 The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for:Providing all human resource support for a customer group within EMCOAssisting other HR personnel with assigned projectsEmployee relations, training, staffing, safety, performance management, and providing the communication link between H.R. and the customer group Will be the subject matter expert for the location in the following H.R. areas: training, safety, organizational development, staffing, performance management, and records administrationMay supervise 1-2 employees

Qualifications Include:Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceWell-rounded HR knowledge including employment lawEmployee advocate and problem solving skillsProficient in Microsoft office computer skills/PeopleSoftPHR/SPHR Certification, manufacturing and supervisory experience are preferred
