Mobility & Protection Systems is dedicated to meeting those needs, as well as those of homeland security and allied military forces, with innovative protective products that enable warfighters to safely accomplish their missions. Mobility & Protection Systems was established to better serve customers with advanced survivability systems for the ground vehicle, individual equipment and aerospace markets. We deliver industry-leading tactical vehicles, vehicle armor, body armor, helmets, aircraft armor, seating systems, air bag systems and individual equipment. We are dedicated to research and development investment to anticipate the survivability needs of the warfighter and their vehicle, utilizing the most advanced metal, ceramic and composite technologies available. The position is responsible for effectively representing the Company with regard to forming and maintaining Human Resources/Employee Relations for the Company. Incumbent will interact with all levels of personnel: i.e., upper management, managers, supervisors, professionals, hourly, etc. Must be proactive in dealing with and resolving issues presented. Incumbent is in a position to provide direction of legal and ethical advice to these groups and for this reason would be expected to always conduct and represent self in a highly professional manner. Position would follow the hours of plant worker operations as assigned and must be prepared to work off the standard 9/80 work schedule and/or on a rotational basis. The challenging aspect of this role is for the incumbent to use care and judgment to ensure fairness and equity in all dealings and to maintain a professional working relationship with all internal/external contacts. On night shift, position would be the HR primary contact for workers. Bachelors degree (related to HR/Business) or equivalent experience plus 5+ years of Human Resources experience/administration with knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures; HR administration; and employee relations. Must have a professional demeanor; excellent customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, excellent listening skills, a willingness to assist all internal and external customers with the ability to deal effectively with a variety of people/situations, and be able to maintain a professional working relationship with all contacts. Must have directly experience in HR processes - employee relations, discipline procedures, benefits administration, pay processes/regulations, workers compensation, leave policies, etc. and ADA, FMLA, and other general government compliance regulations pertaining to Human Resources. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; must be computer literate (word processing and spreadsheets); experience in a manufacturing environment; and be able to handle all levels of personnel professionally and effectively.
