HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST

Functional Responsibilities:

·  Establishment of strong relationships with management and supervisory staff, providing advice and counsel on HR issues.

·  Implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures and their dissemination through various employee communications.

·  Analyze HR issues and recommend solutions.

·  Support the staffing process, including recruitment, identification of career development needs, and preparation of job descriptions.

·  Prepare reports based on organizational needs.

·  Gather and analyzes data for salary planning, exit interviews, reporting, etc.

·  Advise associates/managers on employee relations issues in compliance with policy and precedent, with referral to appropriate resources.

·  Evaluate the results of HR initiatives and makes recommendations for changes

·  Coordinates efforts with Health and Safety Dept. to manage Leave of Absences, FMLA, etc.

Job Requirements:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Related Field

·  3 to 5  years of Human Resource experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization

·  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·  Experienced in utilizing HRIS system and generating system reports

·  Strong knowledge of HR laws, principles and practices

·  Proven Employee Relations skills

·  PHR/SPHR Certification a plus

·  Strong confidence level and leadership ability

·  Adept in building and maintaining relationships

·  Proven organization skills

·  Effective writing and communication skills

Excellent benefit and compensation for selected applicant. 

Wage range: $47,000.00-$53,000.00
