Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating their leadership in three critical areas:
· Compliance
o Company Safety & Security Requirements
o Operating Permits & Licenses
o Federal (OSHA, EPA), State And Local Regulations
o ISO 140001 Auditing
· Knowledge, Planning, Implementation, & Improvement
o Thorough Knowledge Of All Areas Identified For Compliance
o Planning Of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Strategies
o Execution Of Development & Improvement Programs
o Analysis And Improvement Of Existing And New Initiatives
· Communications
o Consulting With All Personnel On All Environmental, Health Safety, And Security Issues
o Representing This Company To Neighbors And Representatives Of Regulatory Agencies
o Training To All Personnel On Critical HSE Issues
Qualifications For Success:
Bachelor’s Degree In Environmental Health And Safety, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health Or Similar Discipline5 (Five) Years Experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental PracticesTraining With OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) And EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Compliance IssuesRegulatory Management ExperienceCIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) Or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) Highly Preferred But Not RequiredExcellent Organizational & Prioritizing SkillsA Willingness To Travel & Interface With Other Corporate FacilitiesA Strong Desire To Grow And Build A CareerCandidates Currently Located In Southwestern Indiana Are Preferred
