Description/Responsibilities:
This position provides Human Relations leadership and support to the Spice Mill. As a direct report to the Plant Manager, the incumbent is a true business partner in the overall personnel/organizational planning and strategic direction of the plant. This position is also responsible for the successful implementation and continued enhancement of the High Performance Work System. The HR Manager works closely with managers and employees at all levels to initiate employee development programs. This position is also responsible for initiating process improvements relative to the Human Relations function. This position has responsibility for the management and development of the Safety & Training Manager, Employee Relations Specialist, Human Relations Coordinator, Administrative Coordinator, and co-management of the Administrative Coordinator/Receptionist.

Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related fieldMinimum of five years in an exempt level Human Resources generalist roleDemonstrated leadership and influencing skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProven consultative and collaborative expertiseExcellent employee relations credibilityStrong verbal, written and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projectsAbility to adapt to changeAbility to anticipate potential problemsFlexible problem solving approachAbility to operate independently and effectively lead a staffExcellent computer skills (Excel, either HRIS/ERP preferred)
