We are a global leader in our field recently locating to South Carolina and have an exciting position available for an experienced HR generalist with strong administrative skills.

 

The position will provide professional experienced Human Resource Generalist and payroll administration support for the organization.

 

Duties:

 

The person selected will lead the selection process, including review of applications, phone interviewing, scheduling in person interviews between candidate and responsible manager. Will conduct medical, reference and political checks.

 

Inform applicants of application status in timely manner, including job offers and rejection letters.

 

Ensure new employees are properly inducted in accordance with company procedures.

 

Maintain HR records and reports and ensure their accuracy and confidentiality.

 

Ensure all HR records are current, in compliance with all federal state requirements.

 

Prepare and manage payroll data for all employees, making sure accurate preparation and timely submission to ADP on time.

 

Ensure payroll is compliant with all employment tax law requirements.  Assist with preparation of all returns and documents for employment taxes as required by law.

 

Prepare payroll and employment reports as requested.

 

Administer and present employee training and other programs.

 

Assist with general administrative duties as required.

 

This position is ideal for the ten year experienced HR Generalist who has in-depth payroll and benefits experience with excellent communication skills to support their mature HR knowledge.  Since this position is in a start up operation it could begin as a 25 hour per week role that could evolve into a full time position as the plant grows.

 

Prefer applicants with good, team player attitude who understands and values HR confidentiality.  We value experience.  The position will report to the Director of Finance and Administration.
