Position Description:

Implement and administer a wide range of pre-developed human resources programs at the Garden Grove facility to achieve the human resources goals for the Seals and Polymer Product operations.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:• Implement/Roll Out/Maintain a wide range of human resources programs, ensuring that all required functions are performed according to established HPM/PPL procedures and time frames including but not limited to: o Coordinate & facilitate Benefits programs for all Garden Grove employees o Oversee Compliance Programs o Conduct exit interviews & separation processo Prepares internal employee communication to support the activities above.• Recruit, prescreen, & interview job applicants for exempt and non-exempt roles making strategic use of the tools and resources available to SG including Talent Track, community organizations, professional groups, etc.• Provide tactical advice and counsel to line supervisors and managers on employee relation issues including corrective action, performance management, occupational development & training needs.• Research, gather, analyze, rearrange, verify and provide specifically requested statistical data to PPL's Field HR, Delegation, Site Finance, etc utilizing reporting tools available through Kronos & PeopleSoft. • Consults with HR Manager to develop, recommend, and implement approved programs that support business needs. Writes & recommends procedural revisions to Site Instructions for programs requiring HR involvement.• Weekly verification of time entries in Kronos (time management system) for all hourly/non-exempt staff, including Time off Requests.Education, Skills and Requirements:Minimum requirements for success in this role are:1) Bachelors Degree in Business Management or Behavioral Sciences.2) 5 years of experience in an H.R. Generalist role within a non-union manufacturing operation.3) Solid knowledge of HRIS & time management systems. Experience working with PeopleSoft & Kronos is preferable.4) Excellent communication/inter personal/problem solving skills: verbal/written.5) Solid knowledge of MS Office suite applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, & Power Point.6) P.H.R. designation is highly desirable.
