Vision Products, a manufacturer and installer of commercial building products that include, but not limited to, architectural metals (stairs, handrails, structural, custom fabrication), doors,(aluminum stainless, all glass, swing and sliding systems), and specialty glass (laminated, bend, cast, painted, etched). A stable organization with 49 years in operation continues to grow broadening product offering and range of installation services is looking for a self motivated professional for the following position.

Position Description:Responsible for local recruiting programs ensuring staffing needs are met in a timely mannerOversee payroll functionsOversee new hire background checks and all required procedures have been performed.Conduct new hire orientation to include benefits packages, company policy, procedures and safety programCounsel employees at all levels of the organization including but not limited to employee issues and strategic business partneringTrack insurance eligibility and enrollment paperwork for new hiresMaintaining and monitoring Worker’s Compensation files and issuesProvide management report to the executives as needed using ADP and MAS90 systemsThe ability to work independently is requiredUnion and TWC administrationPrepare employee separation documents to include all regulatory FMLA and Cobra filings.Must maintain confidentiality in all matters related to position. Use independent judgment and discretion in prioritizing and managing situations, keeping management abreast of any issues.Implement department salary budgets and performance assessments
Skills and Requirements Include:
Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Labor Relations or Human Resources.5+ years of HR generalist experienceStrong employment law knowledgeAbility to present basic procedure training to managers and employeesGeneral knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers Compensation, DOL and other related Federal & State laws required.Familiar with MAS90 accounting system a plus
