INVENTORY MANAGEMENT/ BUSINESS PROCESS CONSULTANT RQA 1076078

The Gates Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tomkins PLC and the leading worldwide manufacturer of industrial and automotive powertrain and fluid power systems, has an immediate opportunity for an IT Business Process Consultant. This position will help drive the Distribution function by integrating various business software solutions to ensure they comply with corporate direction.  This position provides business application experience for the Inventory Management business processes through multiple technology solutions.

 

Responsibilities include:Configures applications to meet business process requirementsDevelops and maintains an Application Roadmap based on business strategyDevelops, maintains and executes application governance processes and standardsDevelops technical requirements, designs, and implementations plansDevelops testing scripts for the associated business processesParticipates in the implementation of new system componentsActs as a liaison between business customers and technology delivery organizations to ensure all requests are properly defined and estimatedPartner with vendors/consultants to establish, create and execute deliverables Provides functional support to the delivery organizations after following the defined support escalation plan

Education/Experience:BS/BA or equivalent (8 years of experience) with 8 years specific experience.5 years experience with Oracle e-Business Item and Inventory Modules.Experience with Oracle e-Business Enterprise Oracle BOM/RouteStructure and definition to support production and consumptionStructure and definition to support routing through work centers and costingOracle MFG/WIPStructure and definition to support production and consumptionExperience with Oracle EAM module a plus3 years experience using SQL Plus.

 

Travel  requirements: 

20%-25% Domestic and International
