Position Summary:
Responsible for leading the strategic sourcing of information technology and services. This includes the planning, execution and review of IS Procurement work. This role is also expected to lead IS’s most complicated, highest-risk and difficult procurements, including enterprise-wide / global-reach procurements, outsourcing arrangements, and cross-functional service and support contracts. In addition, the role will be responsible for leading complex high risk IT enterprise-wide/global reach procurements which require an experienced negotiator which includes developing and leading the sourcing strategy, leading cross functional teams, etc.

Responsibilities include:
Work with IT, internal business partners and outsource supplier to lead complex sourcing initiatives for information technology products and services which include hardware, software, telecommunications and technical resources. This includes:
- Source and contract for information technology products and services which include hardware, software and technical resources.
- Plan and lead project/sourcing initiatives
- Develop, negotiate and manage domestic and international contracts
- Help manage and improve the Clorox/supplier relationship and the transactional processes
Negotiate and manage domestic and international supplier contracts
Manage ongoing supplier issues to meet business needs
Create and manage strategic supplier relationships with key suppliers to meet/exceed company requirements for cost and service through direct cost savings and process improvements
Create and issue RFxs to solicit proposals
Manage the overall sourcing approval process
Additional duties and responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
5 – 7 years of experience in procurement to include 3+ years of IT technical sourcing experience
Experience leading cross-functional teams through defined processes
Scope of experience to include contract negotiations and management, risk assessment and mitigation, procurement policies and procedures, financial analysis, and contract administration
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven time management skills (organization and prioritization)
Ability to quickly learn an adapt to changing requirements of a first level support organization
Experience of managing significant change
Collaborative management style with the ability to build partnerships
Flexibility and open-mindedness
Well rounded understanding of technology, operations and business processes
Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
Knowledge of sourcing methodologies and operating models, and working with professional services firms
Strong influencing / negotiation skills
Substantive experience with strategic sourcing processes
Strong business and project management and leadership skills
Self starter



Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree or other certification (ie. Certificate in Purchasing, CPM)
