Job Description Image Sensor Design Engineer Job Title:  Image Sensor Design Engineer Reports To:  Director of Imager Design Group/Division:  Scientific Instruments Division Career Band:  Band III Location:  Liverpool, New York No. of Direct Reports:  None Day/Shift:  Standard Business Hours FLSA Status:  ExemptWe currently have an opening in our Liverpool, New York facility.  As a part of the Scientific Instruments Division, the Liverpool, NY business unit designs and manufactures solid-state video cameras, imaging devices, and software.  The business unit also provides support services for a variety of industries including scientific imaging, imaging in radiation environments, medical imaging (including phosphor coatings for X-ray imagers), machine vision, and others.   Job Summary:  The primary responsibility of the Imager Designer is to design application-specific image sensors that meet the specifications dictated by the intended end market.  You will be responsible for various aspects of the imager and product development, including documentation, device characterization, testing, and yield optimization. Eligible candidates must have a proven track record for meeting design schedules, should be highly motivated, and must possess strong team working abilities.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent is required. MS or PhD preferred.  Minimum 3-5 years design experience with MOS integrated circuit design, simulation and test. Designing experience in Analog and/or Mixed Signal environments is helpful.  Must have working knowledge of at least one programming language such as C or FORTRAN and familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics or Silvaco and IC process simulation tools.
