Imaging Operator

The Imaging Operator prepares and operates the OCE equipment by reviewing job specifictions, making equipment adjustments, and performing on going quality checks to produce quality froms wich meet internal standards and customer needs.Qualifications- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)- Training and certification on OCE, Xerox and Nexpress color devices preferred. - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.- Good math and mechanical problem-solving skills.- Must be able to read and understand job specifications, printing procedures, quality control procedures and finishing operations. - Although there is no contact with external customers, it is critical that the operator be able to communicate with supervision, technicians, project managers and other operators. An understanding of appropriate electronic imaging terminology is imperative for effective communication. - The Operator will be required to know and understand the imaging systems for Xerox and OCE preventative maintenance on the imaging equipment is essential in this position. The operator should be able to determine the extent of a problem, using the check sheets and know whether to notify a technician. - The operator must be able to determine if the forms meet quality.
