Industrial Electronic Technician

Troubleshoots and repairs production machinery and other electrical and electronic equipment. Installs, maintains and repairs new equipment as needed. Works with other crafts to ensure equipment runs efficiently.Qualifications* AS Degree/CET or equivalent required.* Experience with AC/DC motor control, robotics, servos and drives, PLCs and circuit boards in an industrial environment.* Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, block diagrams and ladder logic.* Ability to set up, operate, program and repair any of the programmable controllers used for equipment control.* Proficient at troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems, identifying malfunctions and repairing equipment down to the component replacement level.* Proficient in the use of electrical and electronic testing and monitoring equipment necessary for the maintenance of the plant and equipment.
