Owens Illinois (O-I) is in need of a highly experienced manufacturing maintenance mechanics to ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities:  Troubleshooting / maintaining / repairing electro-mechanical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic machine operations, electric motors, conveyors etc.Controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques.Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintaining equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies.Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Qualifications:

· Must be able to pass mechanical skills test in order to be considered

· At least 2 years of electro-mechanic experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred

· High School Graduate or GED

· Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

· Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
