Industrial Maintenance Technician

Drawer Box Specialties (DBS) is growing rapidly and to maintain our leadership role in the drawer box manufacturing industry, we are actively seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. DBS’s Maintenance Technician should demonstrate the following attributes:

 

v  Person that works well with other and posses the ability to be a helping partner with the Shop and its supervisors.

v  Work extended and unusual hours as required, assigned to different work shifts if required for a short period

v  Ability to multi task, handling multiple projects, duties, tasks, etc.

v  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing in English.  Additionally, fluent Spanish, orally and in writing would be helpful.

v  Good analytical skills, able to troubleshoot problems, identify solutions, recommend and implement methods, procedures and/or techniques for resolution.

v  Self-reliant and self-directed in one’s thinking while open to new ideas and/or thoughts.

v  Flexible, capable of reacting to change, dynamic.

v  Experience installing, repairing and maintaining NC and CNC machinery, Pneumatics and Electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment required.

 


Key Areas of Responsibility:

v  Lead Maintenance Technician responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of woodworking machinery

v  Install, repair and maintain machinery, mechanical and electrical components

v  Install modifications to automatic machinery and equipment as needed

v  Read electric, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to troubleshoot machine challenges

v  Support preventive maintenance programs for all equipment
