LOUD Technologies (formerly Mackie Designs, EAW, etc.) is currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative to join our fabulous Sales Team.  We are seeking a high-energy individual to help increase sales revenue and grow our business. This position will be assigned a geographical territory and initiate contact with customers via phone and email. 

The successful candidate will be self-starting, motivated, a fast learner and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for a candidate that has music industry experience in retail sales, manufacturing, recording sessions or recent grads of a Music Technology program.  This position will report to the Call Center Manager.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·  Pro-actively call prospects and existing customers to:

o  Establish or re-establish the vendor/customer relationship by calling active and latent customers

o  Identify new prospects and initiate first contact

o  Determine product needs for customers

o  Introduce new products and/or sales programs to customers

o  Build relationships by providing superior service and secure referrals for new prospects

o  Facilitate problem resolution

o  Prepare sales quotations and close deals

·  Assist in developing and implementing cross-selling and up-selling techniques

·  Work in collaboration with our DSM’s in support of our outside sales efforts

·  Obtain complete and accurate customer information and other details for Oracle database

·  Perform other related job functions as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·  LOUD product knowledge and/or experience.  LOUD brands include Mackie, Tapco, EAW, EAW Commercial, Crate, Ampeg, Alvarez, etc.

·  Music industry exposure gained through school, past work history or personal performance

·  A team player with a positive attitude, high energy level, and ability to establish customer rapport and relationships is an absolute must!

·  2+ years business-to-business telephone sales experience (opening and closing sales)

·  Excellent decision making abilities using sound business judgment

·  Strong ability to problem solve, negotiate and close deals

·  Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

·  Experience with Oracle preferred

·  Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a strong customer service orientation

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to listen to customer needs

·  Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision

·  Ability to work cross functionally and have the flexibility to adapt in a rapidly changing business environment

·  Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to multi-task
