Founded in 1984, Instec, Inc. specializes in laboratory equipments. Our product lines include microscope thermal stages, hot and cold chucks, hot and cold plates and liquid crystal testing equipment. Our company locates in Boulder, CO, and we are looking for a technical sales person in Bay Area to work from home.

 

The position will require the candidate to:



· Qualify sales leads to promote the company's products.

· Use technical background to answer technical questions and suggest possible solutions for existing and potential customers.

· Consultative sell to clients to build a strong business relationship and serve all customers with the highest level of care.

· Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with current customers

· Coordinate the Company’s marketing effort in selected markets

· Travel to tradeshows is required. Possible travel to customer sites.

 

Qualifications:

 BS in science or engineering field 2+ years of proven technical marketing and/or sales experience Energetic self-starter and team player with a positive attitude Effective verbal and written communication skills, and people skills Strong PC skills (MS Office) Research experience in R&D area a plus.
