Job Category: Education/Training Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Address: US-TX-Houston Reference Code: 12518BR Description:Provide technical instructional services to internal and external personnel in settings such as roundtables, short-courses, user groups and university classrooms. The incumbent is also responsible for defining and developing the training materials and media required for each session and developing a working relationship with various resources within the company, such as engineering and field service managers to assist and review the developed material.-Provides product-specific training to sales personnel-Provides product-specific operation and maintenance training to Compression Systems service personnel-Provides DOT Operator Qualification program administrative support and training as required by the training manager-Participates in and conducts end-user technical training programs as required-Assesses training needs and writes training objectives in support of those needs-Writes training programs including outlines, handouts, tests, and designs laboratory exercises-Instruct / facilitate class on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment, following outlines and handouts-Administers / proctors written and practical examinations-Writes reports to evaluate trainees performance-Communicates with Compression Systems customers to effect detailed coordination of logistics involved with specific training programs-Writes a course of instruction, defining the training aids and materials necessary to conduct a technical training program-Communicates directly with the appropriate personnel in the customers organization to coordinate the details associated with carrying out the training program either at the customers jobsite, the Houston Compression Systems Learning Center, or other selected training sites-Generates a program outline and applicable Instructors Guide and assembles the training materials that may include student training manuals, training aids, slides, videotapes, transparencies, etc. necessary to conduct the training session-Carries out the classroom instructional duties in a professional, educationally valid manner. This requires the ability to monitor the assimilation of knowledge by the students on an individual basis and to modify / tailor the course of instruction "on the run" as might be required by this feedback. Post-testing and student evaluation skills are used at the end of each session.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years experience with Cameron Compression Systems equipment. Familiarity with a variety of technical training field concepts, practices, and procedures. Must have the following attributes: service-oriented, strong client and business focus, self-starter and dependable with ability to handle multiple activities successfully, mature with well-developed administrative and organizational skills, and result oriented with a sense of urgency.
