Internal Auditor

Job Description:We are currently seeking an Internal Auditor to join our Corporate Finance/Accounting Team in our headquarters in Tacoma, Washington. This individual will be an active participant in the Milgard Finance team and will report to the Director of Internal Audit. Responsibilities:Execute risk-based audit plans.Execute audit procedures to support SOX 404 compliance.Conduct field-work and document results in accordance with published guidelines and standards.Assist in audit coordination with other groups: External auditors and parent company Internal Audit Department.Support fraud investigations/develop associated reports.Qualifications Required:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related area.Minimum of 2 years' experience in public accounting or internal audit.Proven audit skills; experience with data analytics is preferred.Manufacturing industry finance or audit experience is preferred.Professional certifications (CPA, CIA) or advanced degree is a plus.Willingness to travel approximately 33% to Milgard locations.The successful candidate will exhibit good business acumen, be self-motivated and enthusiastic, exhibit high integrity and values and have a strong knowledge of financial accounting.
