International Sales Representative/Account Manager

Orbus, a leading and highly successful manufacturer and trade distributor of products and services to the tradeshow and display industries selling Business to Business headquartered in Illinois, is seeking an International Sales Representative. Our continuing growth and development has created a requirement for us to add an experienced export / international sales representative / account manager to drive and increase sales throughout central and South America. The successful candidate will have proven experience in ‘business to business’ sales and must have a reasonable understanding of export customs and paperwork. They will be proficient in both English and Spanish at a business level, (The ability to speak Portuguese is not essential but would be a distinct advantage) and they will possess a self confident and enthusiastic attitude, and an overwhelming desire to succeed. We are looking for a “hunter” that is driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to receive guidance and direction.

 

We will supply training in both product and sales technique (if requited) and, a reasonable data base of contacts and prospects. This position is primarily telephone sales / office based, with the possibility of some international travel as business develops.

In return we offer a comprehensive health and benefits package and the following ‘starting’ compensation; base salary of $25,000 per year, plus an open ended monthly sales commission which should return a total OTE of over $40,000 in the first year.

 

 

Minimum requirements of this position are:

· 1-3 years sales experience, intangible product sale success a plus

· Positive, high energy sales-oriented personality

· Must have experience in prospecting, cold calling, then qualify prospects and motivating them to purchase from you

· Highest degree of honesty, integrity and professionalism

· Ability to accomplish monthly, quarterly sales targets and goals independently

· Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

· Consistent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

· Proficient in both English & Spanish at at business level (ability to speak Portuguese a plus)

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
