International Staff Accountant

JOB SUMMARY: To prepare accurate and timely financial and taxation reports for international and domestic entities. To work with the general ledger and data systems for reporting and analysis.  To maintain daily general ledger interfaces and to prepare other reports or analysis as needed.  To work with other departments and external consultants for completion of special assignments.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  - Prepares monthly financial statements including  monthly journal entries, reconciliations and  analysis.- Prepares documentation and work with outside   auditors to complete the annual audits - Coordinates tax work with external accountants and  presents results to management for review/approval- Works with external consultants to assure that  accounting and reporting is in compliance with   in-country laws   Works with other departments such as Accounting,   Information Systems, Credit, and Sales to automate   enhance and maintain system generated reports and  processes. -Works with other departments such as International,   Inventory Control, Sales Marketing, Credit, and   Customer Service to ensure the transaction integrity  in procedures and systems. - Completes or assist in special projects, as   necessary.- EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Must be bilingual English/Spanish (100% spoken / 100% written). Must have working experience with general ledger and accounts payable/receivable systems.  Must be computer literate and proficient in Excel and Word.
