Journeyman Machinist - Tool Maker


Reporting to the Tooling Lead Manager, this opportunity is a hands-on position making tools/molds for challenging heavy-gauge thermoformed parts.  The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of tool making with a mechanical background who can troubleshoot root problems, read and interpret blue prints, and is familiar with 3 axis vertical machining center setups. 


Further, the successful individual will have exceptional craftsmanship skills and be detail oriented to meet close tolerance requirements.  We desire a minimum of 10 year’s machining experience with aluminum, wood and plastic, 5 year’s CAM experience with knowledge of 3D modeling and tool paths, basic MS Office skills as well as working math skills such as trigonometry and geometry.  This individual will be open minded and willing to work with others and motivated for potential growth opportunities.
