Thermo Scientific NITON Analyzers is seeking a Junior Chemist to provide support for new application and instrument development within the R&D group. Job Responsibilities Preparation of standards, oxides, liquids, metals, for use in manufacturing and test Developing and validating new instrumentation and instrument calibrations Assist in knowledge transfer of instrumentation and calibration procedures from R&D to manufacturing, sales and marketing Developing, modifying and testing procedures concerning calibrations and sample preparation. Qualifications/Experience BS/BA in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry with 0-2 years experience Associates with 2-4 years experience also considered Basic lab skills and familiarity with chemical safety precautions are required Knowledge of spectroscopy a plusEducation: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
