LED Systems Project Manager / Administrator

The Senior Project Manager will manage all aspects of multi-faceted, cross functional projects through the product life cycle. This role is responsible for securing and managing resources for multidisciplinary LED product development and manufacturing projects. Effectively manage the change process. Implements project management best practices to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and specification.

Leads coordination of project planning, resourcing, progress reporting and troubleshooting for engineering projects.
•Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
•Communicates and drives project teams towards the best practices during project duration.
•Provides project performance and status reporting including interim and completion reports.
•Analyzes project successes and failures along with risk assessments and trends to make recommendations for changes and process improvements.
•Leads cross-functional project review/status meetings including logistics, resources, schedule and objectives.
•Proactively identifying issues and implements corrective action plan.
•Able to manage multiple projects across multidisciplinary team including engineering, marketing, procurement, product qualification and manufacturing.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering plus 5-10 years directly related experience.
Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment. An in depth understanding of Project Management challenges.

Preferred:
Masters degree in mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. CPM Highly Desired.
