Lawson Financial Systems Analyst

Our client is searching for a Financial Systems Analyst with  Lawson  Systems experience! One of Tampa's well respected employers is seeking to grow their financial systems team. Qualifications: *Experience with Lawson *4 year degree in accounting from an accredited university *5-7 years accounting experience in manufacturing *Knowledge of systems applications in a manufacturing *Experience in cost accounting and internal controls, would be considered an asset. *Experience in software system implementation to include interface functional design, testing and data conversion *Proficiency in PC software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.Responsibilities:1. Maintain and support the Financial/Accounting Software primarily, general ledger, purchasing, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, activity management,  multi ledger, and  executive and enterprise reporting. 2. Serve as liaison between company and software provider on software issues – user problems, product enhancements, routine maintenance.3. Provide system user support and training in all functions of financial systems and inter-related systems such as maintenance and procurement.4. Prepare and maintain user documentation, including user manuals, for software system users.5. Provide initial training to new system users and provide ongoing training to employees, training with system changes, upgrades, etc.6. Assist in testing and setup of parameter changes of software.7. Design and assist in implementation of Financial/Accounting Software in acquisitions of to include data conversion, interface design and testing, new user training, go-live support, and troubleshooting.Qualified candidates forward resume to: teresa.ricketts@parkerlynch.com TAR Fin.
