Vision Products, a manufacturer and installer of commercial building products that include, but not limited to, architectural metals (stairs, handrails, structural, custom fabrication), doors,(aluminum stainless, all glass, swing and sliding systems), canopies, and specialty glass (laminated, bend, cast, painted, etched).  A stable organization with 49 years in operation continuing to grow, broadening product offering and range of installation services, is looking for a self motivated professional for the following position.

 

Position Description:Lead position to set up, run and troubleshoot computerized equipment such as CNC cutting tables, autoclaves (pressurized vessels) and furnaces.Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.Participate in safety policies and procedures for all operations.Ensure quality of work is at or exceeds standardsOther related duties of similar or less classifications as conditions needed.

 

Skills and Requirements Include:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); five years related and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to understand and operate equipment software and motorized parts.Print, write routine reports and speak simple sentences.Add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply/divide with 10’s and 100’s.  Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, blue prints, layouts or diagram form.Work in hot/cold conditions, warehouse atmosphere and near moving mechanical parts or equipment 80% of time.Work with fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals with correct safety equipment.Team player, detail oriented and excellent communicator a mustLift over 50-100 lbs with correct safety equipmentStand, walk, kneel or bend for over 80% of the dayMust have peripheral vision – ability to see right/left – up/down in a fixed given position
