Lead Systems Integrator - Visual Environments

Christie Digital Systems USA, the world's leading manufacturer of high performance projection systems and accessories is currently seeking a highly motivated Lead Systems Integrator (Installer) Visual Environments. The Visual Environments Group within Christie provides integrated solutions in the Immersive Virtual Environments (3D), Simulation (2D), and Control Room markets.  These systems utilize Video, Audio, Computer and other systems to affect interactive solutions for our Clients collaboration and control needs. This position requires extensive travel, some international, including travel to the production area for pre-staging prior to shipment. 

 

Lead Systems Integrator (Installer) Visual Environments

 

The ideal candidate must have experience with the installation of Virtual Reality and Simulation (non-motion based) systems utilizing digital blending, computer and audio-video systems. Additionally, the candidate must have a proven track record in excellent customer relationship building as well as team leadership.  Preference will be given to candidates that possess working knowledge of motion tracking systems (InterSense and Ascension), and control systems (AMX and Crestron).

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 Participation in the staging and execution of systems.

 Collaborating with team members of various disciplines to ensure the timely and quality minded integration of systems through design, staging and installation process.

 Key role in the commissioning of systems including calibration of complex projection geometries and audio systems.

 Provide insights for continuous improvements from project to project.

 The ability to work independently, without supervision, with a wide variety of people.

 

 

Technical abilities include:

 Building and anchoring custom rear projection structures

 Installing cube walls

 Integration of display wall processor

 Mechanical and electronic alignment of light engines

 Color-balancing of light engines

 Installation and set up of audio systems, video systems and video conferencing systems

 Fine tuning of system calibration and adjustment

 Training customers for system use

 Performing field service and repair

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 A Technical College Degree (2+ years)5 Years of experience with the installation of Control Room projects, including two years in a supervisory role.A proven track record in excellent customer service building Creative problem solving, good troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills are good to have too.Familiarity working with construction industry contractors, and construction sites.
