LEAN LEADER

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

 

Cooper B-Line is a leading manufacturer of electrical, mechanical, and telecommunication support systems. We are currently seeking an individual to work in a manufacturing environment with emphasis in metal fabrication.

 

The Production Supervisor will work closely with the (Lean) Team to challenge manufacturing process as related to his/her manufacturing responsibility to create manufacturing excellence in a lean environment.

·  Direct employees with respect to production volume, cost, quality, and meeting production schedules and delivery dates.

·  Drive world class safety.

·  Ensure that all production equipment and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production.

·  Develop talent and drive results. 

·  Maintain strong floor leadership and presence. 

·  Be a “change agent”.  Champion Lean Manufacturing principles. 

·  Facilitate/lead Kaizen and Kanban events.  Drive continuous improvement initiatives in all areas. 

·  Be proactive in preventing and addressing issues on the floor.

BS in Technical Studies required with ability to provide leadership in a lean manufacturing environment.  Six-Sigma training a plus.  Ability to work off shifts.  Openings in both Highland and Troy, IL manufacturing plants, 30 miles east of St. Louis.
