Position description: To support the Lean Manufacturing program ensuring that strategies are developed and principles and practices are incorporated into the manufacturing process.  Ensure that actions occur to bring about quantifiable improvements in profitability, productivity, inventory, OEE, staffing, and quality.  This position will report to the lean manufacturing manager of the site.

Specific duties:Facilitate and lead Kaizen events with quantifiable goals and objectives consistently meeting or beating target metrics. Plan, organize and prepare Kaizen events.  Actively participate in setting the plan for achieving future state.Identify, document and maintain financial performance of lean initiativesCompile and present lean event summaries, lessons learned, major impacts, etc. to the facility through multiple means of media Coach and mentor other employees how to think and act differently as it relates to waste elimination

 

Requirements/Qualifications:1+ years of Lean experience with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Bachelors DegreePrior training or certification in the principals and practive of lean manufacturing implementation is a must.Exhibit professionalism and an ability to interact with senior management and various departments throughout the company.Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and be very detail oriented.Ability to prioritize and work diligently under pressure.Flexibility to work long hours when needed.
