You’re invited to share in this success by exploring this rewarding opportunity.What would you be doing?As our client’s Logistics Coordinator, you would be involved with the company’s international shipping logistics while enjoying a high energy environment. You will have hands on experience in dealing with the international import and export of our high end products.You would be trusted to serve as point of contact for project managers and freight forwarders. Additional responsibilities would include: Selecting cost effective modes of transport to dispatch and deliver goods to end consumer Publishing status of deliveries, goods in transit and point of dispatch Initiating timely invoicing at point of dispatch or delivery of goods to end consumer Negotiating air/ocean freight quotes Communicating with internal customers and keeping them abreast of transportation statuses as it relates to open ordersIs this position for you?If you have great communication skills and can manage a high volume and complex international shipping orders with ease, this could be the career for you. Here are a few things we’re seeking in the ideal candidate: Previous shipping experience is required Strong knowledge of importing and exporting is critical Experience in manufacturing is preferred Proficiency in MS Excel is required Fluency in Mandarin is essential Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Supply Chain Management Certification preferred Solid understanding and knowledge of Inco terms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDU, DDP etc.) Previous experience with ERP systems (Sage, MAS 90, Oracle etc.) is a plus but not requiredWhat’s so great about this job, anyway?Our client prides itself on building its team from only the top talent and maintaining a casual and collaborative atmosphere to ensure your knowledge and experience contribute directly to the company’s success.
