Logistics Supervisor

AxleTech International, a global manufacturer of axles and axle components is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor at its flagship Oshkosh, WI location.

 

Position Overview

To provide leadership in the global supply chain through communication, planning and processes. Also, to manage all logistics to achieve on time shipping to our customers and the reduction in freight costs. This role will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and working closely with the Inventory Control Analyst to assist in: Kan Ban, the reduction of inventory, and other corporate initiatives.

 

Essential Functions

¨ Monitoring the quality, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of products and supplies.

¨ Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems globally.

¨ Analyze data to monitor key corporate metrics.

¨ Negotiating with vendors to ensure best prices and practices.

¨ Ensure accuracy of the system, bills of lading, receipts, PO’s, etc.

 

Qualifications

¨ BA preferred.

¨ 3-5 years global logistics experience.

¨Ability to plan and put processes in place.
