Lotus Notes Administrator

Respnsibilities:

•Install, configure, upgrade, and support Lotus Notes/Domino servers and software, including end-user support.
•Install, configure, upgrade, and support Anti-spam/Anti-virus software/devices.
•Support Blackberry Enterprise Server integration with Domino.
•Provide on-call technical support for Domino infrastructure.
•Set and administer server storage space allotments, resource reservations, and directory assistance.
•Monitor and analyze e-mail system activities to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and availability.
•Analyze e-mail system or application usage to plan for growth and for making recommendations to improve the environment.
•Administer and maintain Lotus Notes databases.
•Identify and resolve problems affecting messaging systems performance, efficiency, and availability in a timely manner.
•Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for messaging system administration and appropriate use.
•Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure e-mail software, products, and services.
•Manage upgrades to newer versions of Notes, including evaluation and testing of new Lotus Notes Server and client releases.
•Maintain integrity of Domino databases including replication and consistent Access Control Lists.

Education and/or Experience:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and two to four plus years experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience) related to essential duties and responsibilities.  3 to 4 years experience in Domino/Notes administration with version 6.x/7.x required (Lotus Notes/Domino administrator certification desired).  Knowledge and experience with various hardware and software platforms is desired.  Knowledge and experience with Lotus Notes Designer, SQL, and related programming platforms and languages is desired.  Knowledge of the iSeries (AS/400) platform is helpful.
