MACHINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS / CNC AND CONVENTIONAL MACHINES

MAG INSTRUMENT, INC. the highly successful and growing manufacturer of the Mag-lite® flashlight, is looking for high-caliber Machine Builders/Maintenance Technicians for its facility in the southern California.

 

General Requirements Independently and as a member of a team, you will maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC and conventional production machines in electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic areas.Experience rebuilding ACME Gridley automatic screw machines a plus.Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance.Strong work ethic.Sense of urgency, yet organized and logical in solving problems.

 Specific Requirements

·  The position requires 10 or more years as a mechanic, with experience on machines including CNC mills, lathes and surface grinders. Experience on Rotary Transfer machines is a plus.

·  Candidate must be able to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic blueprints.

·  Working knowledge of Agiematic-CD, Fadal, and Fanuc O-T, 10-T, 16-MB, 16-W, Mori Seiki MSC-500, MORIC-T6F and Siemens 840-D CNC controls.

·  Candidate must be capable of using measuring equipment such as dial indicators, height gages, micrometers, etc.. Experience with laser alignment systems is a plus.

·  Excellent communication skills, as well reading, writing and mathematical abilities.
