MACHINISTS

NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL = $3.00

Join a dynamic, worldwide leader in the manufacturing of specialized pipeline equipment and the provider of field services.  CRC-Evans is currently hiring Machinists (manual, CNC, and CNC Programmer/Operators) for Day and Night shifts.  Position responsibilities and requirements for each type are as listed below:

Manual Machinist

Responsible for the operation of production machines and tools, as assigned,  and the performance of set-up requirements for machines for routine and complex task assignments.  Additional responsibilities include the efficient machining of parts in compliance with Company standards for quality control and the maintenance of task records as assigned.

Job requirements include:Prefer High School diploma or the equivalent certificateKnowledge of different manufacturing machines and the ability to operate eachGood mathematical abilityAbility to read blueprints and use measuring instrumentsGood work ethics, and the ability to work well with othersAdherence to Company policies and procedures, including Company and OSHA safety requirements

CNC Machinist

Responsible for the operation of a Computer Numerical Control machine for the fabrication of parts for production, including the loading of parts into the machine(s), the cycling of the machine(s), and the observation of any malfunctions in the machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Additionally, the CNC Machinist is responsible for running production lots, communication to co-workers regarding production runs, and maintenance of a safe, organized, and clean work area.

Job requirements include: Prefer High School diploma or equivalent certification, with graduation from a certified technical school a plusPrefer 1-3 years' related experienceEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints/drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform basic calculations, and use basic hand-held measuring tools

CNC Programmer/Operator

Position is responsible for the programming of Computer Numerical Controlled production machines, including the responsibility for the upkeep of and corrections to programs.  Tasks include the programming for the fabrication of parts for production of CNC machine(s) as assigned, loading the materials/parts into the machine(s), cycling the machine(s), and observing any malfunctions in the machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.  Additional task responsibilities include running production lots, communicating with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintaining a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Position requirements include the following:Prefer High School diploma or equivalent, with graduation from certified technical school, a plusPrefer minimum of 2-3 years' related experience, with advanced knowledge of machines and tools, their design and maintenance requirementsIntermediate mathematical knowledge and skillsGood working knowledge of circuit boards, processors, computer hardware and software, including applications for use with programmingGood knowledge of raw materials, production processes, production controls and costs Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings, follow routers, use math to perform basic calculations, and use basic hand-held measuring toolsAbility to work well in a team environmentPositive interactive skillsAdherence to Company and OSHA safety standards and requirements
