MAINTENANCE FOREMAN (Hourly) Sika Sarnafil manufactures high quality, single ply roofing and waterproofing membranes.  With over 40 years experience, Sika Sarnafil's roofing and waterproofing systems are recognized for their ability to withstand the test of time.  Our solutions are successful and we service our customers by providing beneficial support in the form of comprehensive design review and technical advice during construction.  The Maintenance Foreman will supervise specific maintenance personnel in maintaining and repairing both production equipment and facility related items.  The incumbent is responsible to assign work orders, purchase necessary parts and supplies and manage spare parts inventory.  The candidate needs to have good communication and organizational skills, and needs to have good interpersonal skills to deal with various personalities and time pressing situations that can develop while servicing manufacturing.  This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The position responsibilities include:-  Support Maintenance Supervisor in supervising maintenance personnel-  Assist in managing outside contractors-  Key member of a team that is responsible to ensure efficient operation of production machinery-  Assign maintenance work orders -  Purchase and stock spare parts and supplies, etc.-  Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health and safety procedures and other regulations in the maintenance department-  Assume department responsibilities when called upon-  Perform all duties while maintaining high quality with every day thoughts for Environment, Health and safety -  Other tasks as assigned by manager Your Qualifications:-  High School Degree-  5 – 10 years of industrial maintenance experience.-  5 years supervisory experience in a similar work environment.-  Understanding and knowledge of PLC controlled production lines incl. technology associated with plastics processing-  Massachusetts Electrical journeyman license preferred.-  Familiarity with environmental, health and safety regulations Personal Skills and Requirements:-  Excellent organizational capabilities with good record keeping skills-  Basic knowledge of Windows Application Software-  Good written and verbal communication skills-  Supervisor attitude and aptitude-  Ability to deal with various personalities-  Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment -  Ability to cover other shifts if needed as well as working overtime  Physical Requirements:-  Ability to kneel, bend, stand, and walk for the majority of the shift-  Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stoop, kneel, climb stairs and ladders-  Forklift license-  Adequate vision Sika Sarnafil offers a comprehensive benefit package including competitive salary, profit sharing, medical and dental insurance, flexible spending and dependent care plans, and an excellent 401(K) program and tuition reimbursement.If you are interested in this challenging position in a growing company, please send your resume including salary requirements to us. Sika Sarnafil, Inc.
