MAINTENANCE MECHANIC/ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

Metem Corporation, a busy machining company, whose customers are primarily in the power generation and aircraft industries, seeks a hands-on, energetic MAINTENANCE MECHANIC/ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN with solid industrial experience to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain our electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment, as well as provide routine maintenance support to our operation. A strong mechanical background in hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, piping, motor controls and DC power supplies is required, familiarity with electronics and CNC equipment is desired.

 

Qualifications include:Read schematics, design, build and document modifications.Troubleshoot electrical circuitry, motor controls, relay logic, CNC controls and PLC's.Good PC skills.Strong oral and written communications.Associates degree in Electronics.

 

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who needs minimal supervision, with a solid background in all aspects of machine shop maintenance, including the ability to use hand tools/general shop equipment.

 

This position is regularly scheduled for a 5 day, 45 hour work week, with overtime paid over 8 hours each day.
