MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Cognitive/Transaction Printer Group, (TPG, Inc.), a global leader in the design, manufacturer and marketing thermal and impact printers is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist at its Ithaca, NY location. In support of the Director of Marketing this position will be responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing communications programs and initiatives.

 

ResponsibilitiesSupports trade periodical development and execution.Manages trade shows and coordinates all phases of show management including booth and product presentation, logistics and pre/post show promotion.Performs market research on products and competition.Works with outside vendors, advertisers and internal resources on product communication programs.Assists with development, implementation and maintenance of product launch materials.Assists with the development of written product materials.

 

Qualifications:Four-year college degree in related field or equivalent experience.3 to 5 years experience in related communications work or B2B environment.Strong working knowledge and experience in trade show management.Strong organizational, customer service, project management and communication skillsStrong computer skills including all Microsoft and database applications.Knowledge and experience with graphic design software preferred.
