MARKETING & SALES MANAGER

ARLON SILICONE TECHNOLOGIES DIVISION (see www.Arlon-STD.com) is a manufacturer of silicone products for electrical and thermal management applications. ARLON serves electronic, aerospace, and other industrial markets with manufacturing in Bear, DE. This MARKETING & SALES MANAGER will be responsible for managing the commercial sales and marketing activities of this division via comprehensive strategic market planning, market responsive product requirements and championing, pricing policies and effective selling, advertising and promotion. Duties will be performed primarily from Arlon’s Delaware manufacturing facility although significant travel is required. This MARKETING & SALES MANAGER will report to the General Manager for the Division.

ARLON is looking for a hands-on MARKETING & SALES MANAGER with a technical degree, preferably in engineering, and 5+ years of experience in sales & marketing of materials-related industrial products.  Ideal candidate will possess previous managerial/supervisory experience, technical customer service experience as well as strong problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, sound time management skills, have the ability to work autonomously and be a self starter.  Previous experience working with outside sales agents/representatives and distributors, advanced degree and previous international experience a plus.
