MATERIAL COORDINATOR
Description:Under general supervision, plan and purchase RA and third party material for the LDSC facility. Ensure that the material meets the quality, delivery and specification requirements at the lowest possible cost. Expedite orders when necessary. Control inventory levels by planning buys JIT and returning unused inventory immediately. Keep accurate inventory, labor and BOM records. Manage the Export compliance data. Order and track factored product. Perform advanced, diversified and somewhat specialized clerical and semi-technical assignments where experience is required to obtain proper financial results for the business. Direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate individual within the facility. May need to assist in receiving function and general shop duties as required.Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures and appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network.
