MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

(2ND SHIFT 3:00PM - 11:00PM)

Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

· Installs, repairs, rebuilds, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services, maximizing production time and minimizing down time.

· Rebuild machines and overhauls troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts.

· Electrical Maintenance Technician installs and repairs electrical wiring and troubleshoots electrical problems.

· Performs maintenance on the building, facilities and grounds.

· Assists to determine the nature and scope of forthcoming projects and the requirements for completion.  Complete assigned projects as directed.

· Performs all assigned preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery and the building and grounds.

· Orders parts and supplies as needed.

· Maintains technical competency and remains current in technology and changes in the industry.

· Complies with all safety and work rules and regulations.

· Works as a team member and participates in DIP’s Total Productive Management. (TPM) efforts.

 

Position Requirements:

· High school diploma required or equivalent work experience.

· 3 + years experience in mechanical maintenance.

· Knowledgeable in building and mechanical trades.

· Possess strong mechanical aptitude.

· Strong organizational, problem solving and follow up skills.

· Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance (Safety, OSHA, EPA).

· Electrical Maintenance Technician

o Must Hold master electrician license

o Knowledgeable in electrical, building and mechanical trades.
