MEDICAL MARKET SEGMENT MANAGER
MEDICAL MARKET SEGMENT MANAGER Reporting to the Director of Marketing to lead and manage the development of medical market segment, including growth in medical market sales dollars and product development plans/implementation as well as fulfillment in some cases. Responsibilities: · Develop and implement medical equipment market segment business plan that includes complete market and competitive analysis, business/marketing strategies to accomplish revenue/market share growth goals, 5 year product roadmap, pricing strategies, marcom and sales/distribution strategies. · Interact with Regional Sales Managers to identify and support specific programs, promotions, products by geography and market segment. · Work with sales to establish focused marketing activities aimed at penetrating new markets and growing existing businesses. · Work with the Channel Marketing Manager to develop new channels of distribution where appropriate. · Develop and implement new product development strategies and 5 year product road map. · Direct and work with Product Manager to implement product development plan and work with Development Engineering to drive new products to market. · Responsible for new product revenue goals. · Be responsible for sales volume for assigned market segment and appropriate products. · Work with Product Management to define product life cycle analysis tools to lead product rationalization and obtain target GM goals for product families. · Responsible for new product revenue goals and sales volume for assigned market segment and appropriate products. · Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred · 5+ years market management experience in one of the following industry segments: electro-medical/electrotherapeutic apparatus, analytical laboratory instrument, irradiation apparatus, laboratory apparatus, surgical/medical instrument, surgical appliance/supply, dental equipment/supply or ophthalmic goods manufacturing · Knowledge of medical equipment segment products and markets · Knowledge of OEM electronics market · Leadership skills · Business planning and implementation · Supervisory experience · Sales experience · Demonstrated communication effectiveness, both written and oral · Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in an organization · Must be able to work under stress, without compromising professional attitude · Will travel approximately 30% Pentair is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
