Description:1. Leads the team responsible for the design, implementation, test and startup phases of complex systems projects.2. Conducts regular project status meetings3. Interfaces with customer, marketing and manufacturing groups 4. Maintains or improve order margins and schedules5. Hardware and software engineering design of projects as required.6. Monitors testing and responsible for Quality7. Monitors all designs to applicable codes and design practices* Time will be split between project management and engineering design.Qualifications:EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 4-year engineering degree from an accredited college or university. Preferred degree is BSEE. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Typically 5 plus years design and application experience with emphasis on AC/DC motor control, drives, programmable controllers, and low voltage distribution.PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:Work requires mental concentration and visual acuity to utilize computer workstations approximately 80% of the time. Working environment is mostly in an office environment with exposure to a manufacturing and start-up site. Willingness to do field work and travel is a necessity. Extended periods of time may be required away from home office.
