MODULAR PRODUCTION MANAGER NEEDED!

This is an opportunity to work with Nationwide Custom Homes, a leader in the Systems Built Homes industry.  We build single story ranch styles, cape cods and split levels, as well as homes with two and three stories and even townhouses.These homes are built in one of our factories and then transported in modules to locations offsite where the finishing touches are completed by one of our authorized builders.

Business is good and in order to keep up with demand, we have need for a new Production Manager in Martinsville, VA!

 

The Production Manager is responsible for efficient operation of all manufacturing related areas in plant, maintaining quality standards, planning for personnel needs, and maintaining an inventory of materials as needed to insure an uninterrupted flow of production.

 

Duties of the Production Manager:

 Oversee manufacturing production to achieve quality and production standards.Maintain employees with the training necessary while assuring that they, in turn, have the ability to efficiently build a quality product. Plan and coordinate production to maintain a smooth production flow while eliminating material waste and lost time. Assist other members of management in establishing product quality standards and once established, maintain those standards through quality control inspections. Insure and maintain inventory levels are maintained and in place as needed. Operate the area assigned as economically as possible, consistent with established production rates and quality standards. Function in such a manner to insure the highest possible level of morale and enthusiasm in personnel in order to maintain high productivity at all times.
