Machine Operator- Bobst

The Opportunity:

MCD, Inc., is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate our Bobst presses.  Our Bobst presses have diecutting, foilstamping, and embossing capabilities.  The Bobst will be your primary focus, but you may have the opportunity to learn some of our other pieces of equipment as well.  The hours for this position will be a night staggered shift.  You will be responsible for working 8 hours on Wednesday and 12 hours Thursday-Saturday one week and 12 hours Monday-Wednesday the following week and you won't have to report back to work until the following Wednesday to give you the six days off.  The night shift hours will be 7:00 PM- 7:00 AM on the nights that you are required to work 12 hours and 11:00 PM- 7:00 AM on the Wednesday's that you are required to work 8 hours. 



Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: 

 

·  High school diploma or GED

·  Strong mechanical skills,

·  Good problem solving skills

·  Good communication skills

·  A good eye for detail and quality 

 

Experience working with printing and/or print finishing equipment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
